The beginning of the year was marked by innovation for the company based in Courcelles, Granit Evolution. In effect, the company acquired a third CNC machine to optimize the production flow and keep up with the growing demands from their clients. This additional CNC machine has also been put in place to be able to work in parallel with a new innovative material, the Dekton®, from the Spanish company Cosentino. This new acquisition forced Granit Evolution to review their entire production layout enabling them to maximize the space available and the operational flow.

This new material, the Dekton®, is a complement to other materials already offered by the company which are: granite, marble, quartz, and now the Ultra Compact surfaces. The Dekton® is opening new market possibilities for Granit Evolution in the residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. Outdoors kitchens are a good example of the properties of this new product.

The company of 27 employees enjoys a great collaboration with the Centre de formation professionnelle Le Granit in Lac-Mégantic, unique training centre in stone cutting in North America.

Granit Evolution, serving the Quebec and Eastern Ontario markets, are offering great job opportunities for a sales representative, an estimator, and people in production.
